Tinubu frowned at Orji Uzor Kalu's lack of political direction, warned him to stay away from APC.

Spirited attempts by the former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu to join the APC have failed again because the APC Governors in the South West Region are not comfortable with Kalu whom they described as a spent force with a deceitful character.

It is reported that Kalu in the past few weeks has been visiting APC Governors in the South West to beg them to persuade Chief Tinubu to soft pedal on his hard stance on the issue of joining APC.

Kalu was also seen at the Oni of Ife palace with the same appeal for Tinubu to allow him an in road into APC. We gathered authoritatively that Kalu had begged some of the APC governors including Atiku to save him from the current situation as he has been rejected by PDP despite his attempt to gate crash into the ruling Party.

Kalu told some of his guests that paid him a visit recently that his situation is so pathetic due to the diminishing of his political relevance since he left office as a Governor.

The APC Governors told Kalu to go and revive PPA so as so prove himself as he claimed to be popular across the Country.

Tinubu is insisting that there is no space for Kalu in APC and that the Party cannot accommodate Atiku and at the same time accommodate the huge trouble that goes with Kalu. Meanwhile, the Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko also frowned at Kalu's lack of political direction.

Breaking News!!!! Ebere Wabara Jumps Bail, Declared Wanted by Court

An Umuahia Magistrate Court Monday issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Mr. Ebere Wabara of the Sun Newspapers  for failing to appear in court over charges of sedition against the Abia State government.
He was granted bail after initial arrest by the police and was expected to appear in court today but jumped bail prompting the Chief Magistrate , John Ukpai of Magistrate Court 4 to order his arrest and that of his surety, Mr. Chuks Onuoha  also of the Sun Newspapers.
Briefing journalists at the end of the court session, counsel to Abia state Government, Chief (Barr) Chukwunyere Nwabuko explained that Mr. Wabara is being arrested for disparaging the Abia State government and inciting the populace against the persons of the Governor and his family members through the Sun Newspapers and his internet publications.
According to the Government lawyer, Mr. Wabara was arrested  by the police to disclose what he knew about his allegation that Engr. Chinedu Orji, son of the Governor ordered the killing of the Governor’s aide, Mr. John Ndubuka  as well as the killing of perceived opposition which he has been publishing in his accomplice on-line site, The City Reporters by one Don Norman.
Barr.Nwabuko pointed out that Wabara had initially denied owning the internet online site, The City Reporters, but was indicted following police investigation of the on-line site.
The matter was adjourned to 10th of April due to the absence of the accused.

Media Watch International cautions Journalists

A non-governmental organization MEDIA WATCH INTERNATIONAL, has cautioned journalists to always stick to the ethics of the profession in the discharge of their duty. Media watch in a statement said that journalism is a noble profession; as such practitioners should be guided by objectivity and not slander in their reports.

Leader of the group Maxwell Ogama while reacting to the arrest of Ebere Wabara said that Journalists who in the course of their duty defames any body should be ready to face the music.

He said that any one who feels that any journalist has maligned him could sue the person. He therefore urged media men not to be used by desperate politicians now that elections are approaching. He reminded them to be steadfast and committed to building Nigeria.

Chief Larry Essien former PPA Chairman described Uzor Kalu political ambition a huge joke

Former Chairman of PPA, Chief Larry Essien has described as huge joke plans by the ex Abia governor Uzor Kalu to run for the Senate in 2015. Essien who said he left PPA due to Kalu’s over bearing and deceitful character, argued that Kalu has no political relevance and cannot win even in his village or environ.

Essien wondered why Kalu who has been telling people that he wants to be President, is now thinking of going to the Senate on the platform of PDP, a party that has rejected him. He told Kalu to go and revive PPA and contest on that platform, instead of deceiving himself.

Essien however, confirmed that Kalu attempts to join APC were rebuffed by Tinubu who described Kalu as a spent force and confusionist without sense of direction. He warned Kalu to stop using President Jonathan’s name to draw attention to himself as he (kalu) remains, a political leper.

Kalu he said should bow in shame, as his antics can't work again, the people now know better.
