Jonathan flops Uzor Kalu (OUK) on National Awards

...Award Committee cautions OUK on the illegal use of MON title.
Unknown to many, the former Governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu actually lobbied to be given a National Award (MON) but his hopes were dashed. A source at the office of the SGF told our reporter exclusively that kalu gave huge amount to a top member of the award committee to put his name on the list.

Kalu's name we gathered actually made the list but he couldn't survive the screening. Our implacable source said that the panel threw out Kalu's name as he was described as a con man. His source of income and character were questionable
First, Kalu we learnt couldn't survive the screening as he had years back given himself the title of MON, a development members of the panel described as fraudulent.

Secondly, the Panel said that Kalu is not a man of integrity as he, OUK is enmeshed in a degree certificate scandal. Thirdly kalu was disqualified based on intelligence reports which linked him to the death of one Miss Masi in his United States America home and the death of his former editor Dimgba Igwe who died a day after Dimgba confronted him (kalu) for owing them 8 months salary.
Our source hinted that kalu was devastated when he heard that he was dropped having boasted to his friends that President Jonathan has assured him of a national award.

Uzor Kalu Under Probe for Acquisition of N12 billion Jet

Justice and Equity Movement (JEM) a non-governmental organisation based in Abuja has drawn the attention of the EFCC to the new private jet bought by Ex Abia Governor Uzor kalu (OUK) that worths 12 billion Naira. It was reported in the media last week that kalu who is facing trial for looting Abia funds running into billions, was said to have bought the gulf stream jet at a time he was owing eight months salary at Sun and Telegraph . Addressing journalists in Abuja the Coordinator of JEM, Comrade kingsley Adewale said his group is worried that Kalu's trial by EFCC is yet to resume.

The group stated that it is an irony that kalu who is supposed to have been in jail and the billions retrieved, is brandishing a new jet bought with looted funds from Abia. The group called on the EFCC to act quickly on Kalu's case as the agency is doing on the cases of other ex governors. JEM hinted that Kalu is heartless as he is owing 8 months salaries in his Newspapers establishments.

JEM condemned one Sun Newspapers  staff, Steve Nwosu, who claimed in his write up Frank talk that kalu is not owing staff. Steve should be ashamed of himself, this is the same man that demoted him from daily editor to ordinary staff. Steve was also abandoned by kalu when he was attacked by armed robbers the group added. JEM said that it will not rest until Kalu is prosecuted as it will serve as deterrent to other politicians.

Abia Govt Threatens to sue Kalu, Sun Newspaper over Publication

Abia State government has denied the statement allegedly made by Prince Arthur Eze against the state during its 23rd anniversary published by Sun Newspapers, Monday, saying the Anambra State born billionaire was quoted out of context.

Prince Arthur Eze was quoted by Sun newspapers to have said at Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia the Abia State capital, venue of the 23rd anniversary which held Wednesday, that Abia is stinking, and the dirtiest in the country; garbage everywhere, along with bad roads; the people are really suffering, and you see it in their faces.

He was said to have further asked if there are no elders, senators and State’s lawmakers in Abia again and questioned their role in the development of the State.
He was also said to have told the Governor, Chief Theodore Orji that If he doesn’t know what to do again, he should please write to President Goodluck Jonathan, and let him come to his aid, adding that Abia State needs help.

But reacting to the publication while briefing newsmen in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, Monday, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Dr. Eze Chikamnayo frowned at the report he described as a deliberate distortion of facts.

Chikamnayo said The Sun newspapers misquoted Prince Arthur Eze who was obviously referring to the deplorable state of the Enugu- Port Harcourt federal road which is currently receiving attention through the intervention of Chief T.A. Orji.

He however accused the immediate past Governor of the State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu and the Sun management for unwarranted attack on the people of Abia State.

“The Abia State government condemned the behavior of the immediate past Governor of the state for using his medium, Sun newspapers to attack the administration of Chief T.A. Orji and disparage Abia people especially the elders.
“Prince Arthur Eze never said that ‘Abia stinks’ rather on the said day, he (Arthur Eze) told the audience at the Okpara Auditorium about his awful experience traveling on the Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway from Enugu to Umuahia.

“Apart from describing the Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway as being impassable, the businessman called on the Federal Government to come to the rescue of the South-east zone as almost all the federal roads in the geopolitical zone are in very deplorable condition,” Chikamnayo said.
Chikamnayo further explained that Arthur Eze said the people of the South-east are suffering because of bad state of federal roads especially those leading to Abia State and pleaded with the Federal Government to urgently do something to alleviate the agonies of the people.

The Commissioner who was flanked by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Charles Ajunwa added that Abia State government will not hesitate to resort to legal measures against the former governor and his medium, Sun if the unwarranted attack continues.

Former Governor Abia State and his ways according to Tony Ibe

Former Governor Abia State And His Ways According to Tony Ibe

Kalu’s lamentations will never end. His message read by a very disillusive aide at a retreat in Port Harcourt recently says much about the torments Kalu is passing through.

He is in deep melancholy in spite of his stolen riches. We are used to Kalu’s jibes and innuendos but this time, he spoke from the subconscious.

I am not surprised at Kalu’s moans. It is his typical refrain. Who are the wolves in sheep’s clothing and animals in human form if not Kalu?

In this same gathering Rochas Okorocha came out with a powerful postulation that suits Kalu like a second skin. According to Rochas ‘who you are before office means a lot. If we elect a criminal into office he will simply become excellent criminal.’

Kalu was simply a fraudster, remember when he donated papers cut into sizings of money, remember his forged certificate that bedeviled him in the first year of his tenure. His enlisting in Abia State University and the retrieval of his unfortunate degree clearly shows that he had no certificates before becoming a governor.

Remember Hon. Ubani’s many articles on Orji. Orji was a dupe that took on many people to the extent that a law court in Lagos seized all his property. It is on record how he got entangled into a drug scam in London and Alex Mbakwe who was surety with his property lost out as Kalu jumped bail.
He never had The Sun Newspapers, Slok Air and other things he is boasting with and all that he claims now. They were all bought with looted money from Abia State coffers. In that same gathering Prof Jinadu came with another apt situation faced by past governors, those who cannot separate the office and self mostly due to overzealous love for lucre.

That gathering is a good one and Kalu fell into a trap making it clearly obvious that he is still brooding over his loss. We know those who will survive psychologically. Abiola Ajumobi wants to be A PREACHER, Nyako is in a hurry to go back to his farms.

Kalu wanted to continue ruling by proxy. Kalu is the real animal who did not know that his time in office is gone. He has refused to forget issues in Abia and continue as the evil Godfather. Let him continue.

He will get more shocks and embarrassment. Abia people are wiser and have sworn that never again will they elect a no-name howler like Kalu.
