He made this known in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of the state while addressing a church congregation at the First Session of the 2nd Synod of the Anglican Diocese of Ohaji/Egbema held at St. Paul’s Church Mgbirichi.
Okorocha
informed the congregation that he may not come to anybody in the state
to campaign or seek for votes for re-election in the forthcoming 2015
general election because of his interest to contest the presidential
election.
Describing governorship position as burdensome, Okorocha added is intervention in the areas of electricity and road rehabilitation.
Said that he knew the risk he took when he forced power out of “the evil one”.
He said: “I went to the land of demons to force power out of the evil one for the good of Imo people”.
Okorocha has never hidden his desire to contest for the highest office in the land as he has often told Imo people that if given the opportunity to run for the office of president, he would achieve more than both the present government and the previous leaders.
